Dev has always had a close connection to the process of immigration being the product of immigrant parents who came from Bangalore and, he was raised in Queens, NY- the “land of immigrants.” Dev obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Boston University in Boston, MA and he received his Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, NY. Dev has also obtained a Certificate of Concentration in International Law. He has been honored by his peers with the Adolf Homberger Outstanding Humanitarian Award. Dev has conversational ability in several languages including Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Kannada, with some proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Dev Banad Viswanath has successfully written and assisted in writing briefs before the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals and Petitions for Review before the 2nd Circuit & 3rd Circuit Courts of Appeals.
